Point loads on the pile’s top nodes can be applied to piles at the specified stage based on the definitions of the parameters listed below.

Inputs

Pile Cap : Choose the pile cap to impose the nodal load on the top node of all piles.

Individual Piles : Select individual piles to apply the nodal load on their top node.

Stage : Select a stage to apply the load.

Fx: Force in the X direction with respect to the element's local axis chosen as the pile cap.

Fy: Force in the Y direction with respect to the local axis of the chosen pile cap.

Fz (Gravity): Force in the -Z or gravity direction with respect to the chosen element's local axis.

Mx: Moment in the pile cap's local X axis.

My: Moment in the pile cap's local Y axis.

Mz: Moment in the vertical direction with respect to the pile cap's local axis.

The Directions of Forces

The loads on the piles are applied based on the pile cap's local coordinate system, with the orientation of the pile sections also taken into account.

Refer to the figures below for further clarification on the directions of positive forces and moments.
