Pier Column [EX1-SIG]

Follow the next steps to add the pier columns.

1	Go to Pier Column on the tree view.
2	Click three-dots icon on the Pier Cap cell and select a pier cap.
3	Click three-dots icon on the Section Data and click edit.
4	Follow section import instructions that given previously.
5	The column has the same section from top to bottom, so there is no need to define a section variation along the column length.
6	Enter Section Length starting from top.
7	Select Start & End Sections.
8	Go to FEM tab and set Rigid Section.

Quick Tip: Transverse Offset Direction Offset values use PGL as the reference point.

Follow the below steps to copy and paste all inputs from our data set.

1	Go to Pier Columns under Pier on the tree view.
2	Copy Column from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM.
3	Go to FEM under Pier on the tree view.
4	Copy FEM data from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM.

Quick Tip: Copy inputs to OpenBrIM

Copy the desired data with the automatic copy button in the upper left corner.

Click on the first cell in and use the Ctrl+V shortcut to paste.

If icon won’t appear, collapse page tree menu by clicking on arrow or using shortcut “[”.

While pasting large data, it would be handy to turn of Auto-refresh .
