Please follow the instructions provided below to add the insertion points where the bearings will be created.

1

Navigate to Bridge Geometry > Insertion Point

2

To create the first insertion point, click on the three-dot icon located on the first cell of the Location and set its location to "Abut1".

3

For each support line, there should be one insertion point positioned beneath each "Tub Girder". Since there are two "Tub Girder" in the project, there will be two insertion points located on each support line.

4

Enter Transverse Offset as -12 and +12 to relocate the insertion points on the support line

5

Repeat the same to create other insertion points and set their transverse offset values

6
Quick Tip: Skew angle & Offset parameter calculation

Skew angle and transverse offset parameters for support lines that have skew > 0. User need to enter T value for skewed supports.

Skew angle and longitudinal offset parameters for support lines that have skew > 0.

 Quick Tip: Transverse Offset Direction

Offset values use PGL as the reference point.

Follow the below steps to copy and paste all inputs from our data set.
