Follow the next steps to set boundary conditions for each bearing location (insertion point) that you have defined while creating the bridge layout.

Go to Bearing Fixity on the tree view next to data spreadsheet.

Set Tx/Ty/Tz/Rx/Ry/Rz.

Set Transfer Force to Substructure as Yes for interior pier locations.

Set Transfer Force to Substructure as No for start and end support locations.

Follow the below steps to copy and paste all inputs from our data set.

Go to Bearing Fixity under Boundary Conditions on the tree view.

Copy Articulation from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM.


Completed Bearing Fixity is illustrated below.


 Quick Tip: Copy inputs to OpenBrIM

Copy the desired data with the automatic copy button in the upper left corner.

Click on the first cell in and use the Ctrl+V shortcut to paste.

If icon won’t appear, collapse page tree menu by clicking on arrow or using shortcut “[”.

While pasting large data, it would be handy to turn of Auto-refresh .
