Follow the next steps to define deck cross-sections.

You need to define at least 2 deck cross-sections along the deck.

Pick 1st and 2nd Support Lines with no longitudinal offsets.

Pick 1st and 2nd Support Lines with no longitudinal offsets.

Go to Deck Cross Section tab.

Pick the Girders for haunch locations.

Enter the deck dimensions.


Follow the below steps to copy and paste all inputs from our data set.

Go to Cross-Section under Deck on the tree view.

Copy Location, Deck Cross Section from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM.

     Completed deck cross section is illustrated below.

Follow the next steps to define concrete deck.

Go to Concrete Deck on tree view.

Pick Cross-sections graphically.

Import deck Material and assign it.

You can view the previously imported materials in Properties->Materials on the tree view


Follow the below steps to copy and paste all inputs from our data set.

Go to Concrete Deck under Deck on the tree view.

Copy General from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM.

     Completed deck cross section is illustrated below.


 Quick Tip: Copy inputs to OpenBrIM

Copy the desired data with the automatic copy button in the upper left corner.

Click on the first cell in and use the Ctrl+V shortcut to paste.

If icon won’t appear, collapse page tree menu by clicking on arrow or using shortcut “[”.

While pasting large data, it would be handy to turn of Auto-refresh .
