This component divides each span into 20 segments and reports the major axis bending moment, lateral bending moment, and shear at each location.

General

Girders: Select the girders for which you wish to view the results.

Factored Results: Select the load combination table that includes the unfactored analysis result cases, their corresponding factors, and the limit states.

Ignored Insertion Points for Span Positioning: Usually, no selection is needed in this section as the span definitions are automatically determined by the object using the connected insertion points, which represent the bearing locations. However, if some of the connected insertion points are not bearings and instead represent temporary supports, they should be selected and marked as ignored.

Steel I Girder Analysis Summary Report Includes

  1. Tables for each span,

  • Unfactored shear, factored (max) shear, factored (min) shear.

  • Unfactored major axis bending moment, factored (max) major axis bending moment, factored (min) major axis bending moment.

  • Unfactored bottom flange lateral moment, factored (max) bottom flange lateral moment, factored (min) lateral axis bending moment.

These values are displayed to the user for all result cases in a tabular format.
