This example is Problem 9 from the ASME 1972 Program Verification and Qualification Library (reference ASME 1972). A three-dimensional, fixed-base cooling tower is analyzed for an asymmetrical wind pressure loading. Radial displacements over the height of the tower are compared with published results.
