This section also serves as the input interface of the properties. Follow the below steps to define the properties that this interface will utilize in the example.

Materials

(blue star) Follow the below steps to create a material in OpenBrIM

Go to Properties/Materials.

In 1st row, click-three-dots icon (blue star) under Name and click Import Material.

Stress-Strain Model

(blue star) Follow the below steps to select stress-strain model of your material.

Go to any column of steel/concete material row.

Click on three-dots icon (blue star) of any cell of the row. Select Edit MaterialName. Edit for reinforcing steel.

Select from Type drop-down as Reinforcing Steel.

From Stress-Strain Model drop-down, select Bilinear Steel.

Edit for concrete materials.

Rebars

Similar to Materials (and Sections in the following part), Rebars come automatically from the database under the Properties tab. This tab enables the user for custom definitions as well.
