Please ensure that the 'FEM' button located in the top-middle of the screen is active. If the button is inactive, the 'Analysis' button will not appear.

→ Once the 'Analysis' button appears in the top left corner, it indicates that the FE model has been compiled and is ready for analysis.

When the results are displayed, there exists several coordinate sytems which users should be aware of to utilize FEA results accordingly.

The results can either be displayed with respect to,

  • Global Coordinate System:

  • Local Coordinate System: This system can be defined as follows: the X-axis is aligned with the PGL/Alignment direction, the Y-axis is perpendicular to the PGL/Alignment, and the Z-axis represents the elevation.

Although nodes and springs are generated with respect to the Local Coordinate System, various adjustments can cause differences in axis definitions. For bearings, the ‘Bearing Rotation’ parameter functions as illustrated below.

→ Select "Element End Forces (External Local/Global)" from the tree view. This option allows you to visualize the FESpring results (displaying two nodes results for two-node springs) of the members based on the corresponding analysis results in the form of:

i) result cases,
ii) construction stages,
iii) result combinations/envelopes.

→ By using the pop-up window to set the filtering options, the results of springs will be visible in terms of Forces (X/Y/Z) and Moments (X/Y/Z) when such definitions, as illustrated in the image next to this row, are applied.

→ To switch to viewing the cumulative results for a specific stage, click on the three-dot button provided and select the "Display Cumulative Results" option.


This will update the displayed results in the spreadsheet to show the cumulative load effects of all the stages up to the selected stage.


Cumulative load effects could further be filtered by utilizing the option “Filter Cumulative Results by Load Type”.

To further filter the display of cumulative load effects, you can utilize the option "Filter Cumulative Results by Load Type".



This action will update the displayed results in the spreadsheet to show the cumulative load effects specifically for the selected load type.

You can review vehicle positions for various result types such as node displacements, element end forces, feline forces, and fecomposite forces. Please note that the wait time for fecomposite forces and stresses may be longer than for node reactions due to the additional computational steps required to determine vehicle positions.
