Excerpt

The loads can be applied to the selected bearing by defining the related parameters below.

Bearing Load

Bearing: Specify the bearing at which the load will be applied.

Stage: Specify the stage at which the bearing load will be applied.

Fx: Specify the force applied in elements local X-axis direction.

Fy: Specify the force applied in elements local Y-axis direction.

Fz (Gravity): Specify the force applied in elements local negative Z-axis direction.

Mx: Specify the moment applied around the X-axis.

My: Specify the moment applied around the Y-axis.

Mz: Specify the moment applied around the Z-axis.

Info

Although Fz is applied in the direction of gravity (positive values for Fz will correspond to the downward direction, as with gravity), Mz will have a positive direction relative to the +Z axis or, in other words, in the upward direction.

Info

Loads are applied taking into account bearing rotation angle

. If the rotation angle parameter of the bearing is nonzero, the longitudinal and transverse directions will adjust accordingly.image-20241213-130551.pngImage Removedimage-20241018-091741.pngImage Removedimage-20241214-102333.pngImage Removedimage-20241214-102436.pngImage Removedimage-20241214-102548.pngImage Removed

for the bearing that has the bearing rotation parameter set to zero degrees.
