Connection Type [BOLTED/WELDED]: There are two connection types. One is 'BOLTED' and the other is 'WELDED'.
Geometry [Rectangular/Chamfered]: Two types of geometry can be selected: one is 'Rectangular' and the other is 'Chamfered.' Select 'Chamfered' to chamfer the exterior corner of the plate. This parameter can only be specified if the connection type is defined with the option 'Bolted'; otherwise, it will be marked as not applicable (N/A).
MaterialSection: This parameter can be used to assign a material to the gusset plateplate’s section. Materials A section can either be selected assigned from previously defined options under Properties- Materials or imported as needed.
Height: This parameter specifies the height of the gusset plate.
Width: This parameter specifies the width of the gusset plate.

Cross Frame Gusset Plate Sections database is created solely for this purpose.  One important thing here is that sections are previously defined for five categories, and although the shapes can be manipulated, choosing the correct category is vital in order for gusset plates to be generated at the intended locations.  |
