To generate the bending moment and resulting curvature (bending deformation) relationship, further definitions can be made. By using the parameters of this section, it is possible to further define the concrete column for pushover analysis-curvature reports and obtain Crack Inertia and pushover hinge property data for seismic design, the Moment-Curvature Object can be utilized.

While all sections can be used to generate moment-curvature curves in the Section Editor, this object is specifically designed to provide data for seismic analysis. For further explanation, refer to https://openbrim.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/OBrIM/pages/edit-v2/2124677142#Moment-Curvature .

As outlined above, after defining the section, reinforcements, materials, and loads with the parameters listed below, the report can be accessed through the DOCS button on the left-hand side toolbar. This report will present the user with Confined Concrete Strength/Strain values, Cracked Inertia Values, and Hinge Property Data, which can be further used in other related objects for seismic design.
