Please follow the instructions provided below to add the pier columns.

Navigate to Pier > Pier Column

Click three-dots icon on the Cap cell and set pier caps according to project.

Then enter the name as Pier_1

Click three-dots icon on the Section Data and click edit.

 

 

Enter the section data as follows for Pier_1

  • Section Length (Starts from Top) [ft]: 50

  • Start Section: ColSec

  • End Section: ColSec

Navigate back to General tab

Enter Transverse Offset [ft], Rotation Angle [deg] and Bottom Elevation [ft] data as in the figure.

Repeat the previous steps and identify all existing pier columns in the project.

Navigate to Pier Columns under Pier on the tree view.

Copy Column from model inputs and paste into OpenBrIM.
