Follow the next steps to set material definitions to be used in this bridge example.

Go to Properties > Materials

Click the three-dots on the first cell of the Name and click Import Material

Import following materials from OpenBrIM Library

  • OpenBrIM Bridge Objects > Steel Material Database DB (US) > Structural Steel > A709_50

  • OpenBrIM Bridge Objects > Steel Material Database DB (US) > Structural Steel > A709_50W

  • OpenBrIM Bridge Objects > Steel Material Database DB (US) > Reinforcement Steel > A615_60

  • OpenBrIM Bridge Objects > Concrete Material Database DB (US) > US AASHTO > Fc_4ksi

Assign a Stress-Strain model to Fc_4ksi by clicking the three-dots and selecting Edit

Select Stress/Strain model as Mander Concrete

Click Save

Repeat the same steps from 4 to 6 for A615_60 and select Stress/Strain model as Bilinear Steel

Define a new material manually as RigidMaterial

Copy and paste the data below for the RigidMaterial
