Navigate to Bridge Geometry > Roadway Alignment

Enter Start Station as 0.

To define alignment properties, click on the three-dot icon located on the cell, and then select "Editor".

To add a circular segment, click on the + icon located next to "Horizontal" in the editor.

Enter a length of 520 feet, a radius of 700 feet, and select "Towards Right" as the direction.

titleQuick Tip: Vertical

You can modify the vertical data, such as grades and elevations, of the alignment by accessing the "Vertical" tab. In this specific example, the vertical data for the alignment is currently set to 0.

To define the alignment cross-section at a specific station, click on the + icon located next to "Transverse".

Enter the cross-section Station as 0 ft.

Enter the Left Edge to PGL distance as 20 ft. This distance is the length from the left edge to the centerline of the alignment.

To add a section component, click on the + icon located next to "At Sta+0".

Enter the Station as “0” ft.

Enter the Width as 40 ft and Slope as %-5.

Click again + icon next to the Transverse to define the alignment cross-section at a new specific station.

Enter the Station as “520” ft and Left Edge to PGL as 20.

Enter the Width as 40 ft and Slope as %-5 under “At Sta 5+20” tab.

Click Accept.
