Follow the next steps to add the pier columns |
1 | Go to Pier Column on the tree view | |
2 | Click three-dots icon on the Pier Cap cell and select a pier cap | |
3 | Click three-dots icon on the Section Data and click edit | |
4 | Follow section import instructions that given previously. | |
5 | The column has the same section from top to bottom, so there is no need to define a section variation along the column length. | |
6 | Enter Section Length starting from top | |
7 | Select Start & End Sections | |
8 | Go to FEM tab and set Rigid Section |

Select Start & End Sections
